AssetPlus Launches 'Har Ghar MFD' to Build India's Next Generation of Mutual Fund Distributors

Kolkata | July 6, 2026: AssetPlus has launched Har Ghar MFD, a nationwide initiative aimed at making mutual fund distribution a more accessible and rewarding career while creating a free, comprehensive knowledge platform for aspiring and existing Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs).

The initiative was unveiled in the presence of industry leaders, including Navneet Munot (MD & CEO, HDFC AMC), Nilesh Shah (MD, Kotak Mahindra AMC), Radhika Gupta (MD & CEO, Edelweiss Mutual Fund), Sunil Subramaniam (Former MD & CEO, Sundaram Mutual Fund), along with AssetPlus founders Vishranth Suresh and Awanish Raj.

With India’s mutual fund industry crossing ₹81 lakh crore in Assets Under Management (AUM) and monthly SIP inflows touching ₹31,000 crore, investor participation continues to rise rapidly. However, the country currently has only around 1.8 lakh Mutual Fund Distributors, highlighting the need to expand the distribution network to meet growing demand.

Built around the vision of “An MFD for Every Home”, Har Ghar MFD offers a one-stop, free-access platform featuring video-based learning, editorial explainers, market and regulatory updates, research insights, practical tools, calculators, and AI-powered content discovery to help distributors build knowledge and grow professionally.

Speaking at the launch, Vishranth Suresh, CEO & Co-founder of AssetPlus, said the future of India’s mutual fund industry depends not only on innovative products and technology but also on trusted financial professionals who can guide families toward long-term wealth creation.

Co-founder & CTO Awanish Raj said the platform has been designed to make relevant knowledge easier to discover and apply, transforming it into a living knowledge ecosystem rather than just a content library.

With more than 21,000 MFD partners, over ₹8,000 crore in Assets Under Management, and a network serving 1.5 lakh+ investors, AssetPlus said the launch of Har Ghar MFD marks another significant step towards strengthening India’s mutual fund distribution ecosystem and preparing the industry for its next phase of growth.
