
Kolkata, September 7, 2026: Bandhan Bank today announced the launch of its new credit card portfolio in collaboration with Mastercard, marking a significant milestone in the Bank’s journey as a universal bank and its commitment to delivering innovative, inclusive and customer-focused financial solutions.
Inspired by the enduring flame in Bandhan Bank’s logo, symbolising its commitment to enriching lives, the new credit card portfolio has been introduced in four variants — Sparks, Ignite, Flare and Lumina — designed to address the diverse spending needs and lifestyles of customers.
The cards were unveiled in the presence of Partha Pratim Sengupta, MD & CEO, Bandhan Bank; Gautam Aggarwal, President, India & South Asia, Mastercard; Rajinder Kumar Babbar, ED & CBO, Bandhan Bank; and Piush Jha, Head – Credit Cards, along with senior leaders from Bandhan Bank and Mastercard.
Four Cards for Different Customer Needs
Sparks: Designed for everyday spending, the card offers accelerated rewards on grocery and apparel purchases, a welcome reward bonus, domestic airport lounge access, BookMyShow offers, fuel surcharge waiver and EMI cashback benefits.
Ignite: Focused on grocery and travel spends, Ignite comes with accelerated rewards, welcome and milestone rewards, domestic and international airport lounge access, and EazyDiner benefits.
Flare: A travel-focused card offering an Amazon Pay Voucher as a welcome benefit, domestic and international airport lounge access, BookMyShow and EazyDiner benefits, along with golf privileges.
Lumina: The premium offering in the portfolio, Lumina provides enhanced rewards on international spends, an Oberoi gift voucher as a welcome benefit, domestic and international lounge access, concierge services, airport meet-and-greet services, BookMyShow and EazyDiner benefits, and golf privileges.
Speaking on the launch, Partha Pratim Sengupta, MD & CEO, Bandhan Bank, said the introduction of credit cards marks an important milestone in the Bank’s journey as a universal bank. He highlighted the portfolio’s digital-first application process and card servicing experience, saying the four variants have been designed to serve customers ranging from Gen Z and emerging affluent consumers to frequent travellers and premium lifestyle seekers.
