Kolkata, September 9: Around 50 people formally joined the Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), or HAM Party, during a joining programme held at the party’s West Bengal state committee office in Kolkata on September 9.
The programme was attended by HAM Party West Bengal State President Sandeep Dhar, State Vice-President Satyam Kumar Singh, Krishna Sau, and other party leaders and workers. New members were welcomed by handing over the party flag.
Among those who joined the party were Md. Arif, Aqib Syed Bakht, Khwaja Khairuddin, Syed Parvez Alam, Mohammad Roshan, Randeep Kumar Jana, Mohammad Ashiq, Mohammad Tariq, Mohammad Tabrez, Javed Hasan, Mohammad Firoz and Sheikh Nurul, along with several others.
The new members expressed their willingness to work among the people and contribute to social and public welfare initiatives in the coming days.
The party also said it is preparing to contest the upcoming municipal elections with the Karai symbol, while focusing on expanding its organisational presence across West Bengal and raising issues concerning the public.
Sandeep Dhar said the induction of new workers and supporters would further strengthen the party’s organisational base. He added that HAM Party would continue working to expand its presence across different parts of West Bengal and remain connected with the people.
The programme concluded with a message of organisational expansion and continued public engagement. The political impact of HAM Party’s campaign under the Karai symbol will become clearer in the days ahead.
