The highly anticipated JIS Education Expo 2025 commenced today at the Dhano Dhanyo Auditorium, Kolkata, ushering in a two-day celebration dedicated to learning, aspiration, and academic excellence. Designed to empower students and shape informed futures, the event opened to an atmosphere of enthusiasm and purpose.
The grand inauguration took place in the presence of Sardar Taranjit Singh, Managing Director, JIS Group; Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director, JIS Group; and Biswarup Banerjee, noted singer of Indian Idol fame.
The Expo showcased the full spectrum of academic offerings from JIS Group’s institutions, ranging from diploma and undergraduate programs to postgraduate and doctoral studies. It highlighted the Group’s commitment to innovation, industry relevance, and holistic development. Dedicated booths by JIS Group institutions facilitated interactions between students, faculty, career counsellors, and academic experts for personalized guidance.
A key highlight of the inaugural day was the felicitation of Class 10 and 12 board exam toppers from over 40 institutions across Kolkata. The recognition ceremony celebrated academic excellence and served as a powerful source of inspiration for thousands of students attending the Expo.
One of the most impactful segments was the free one-on-one counselling sessions, where experts guided students and guardians on navigating academic pathways, course selection, and admission strategies. These interactive sessions supported students in making informed decisions across every stage of their educational journey.
The Expo reflected the JIS Group’s ongoing dedication to student empowerment and preparing learners for a future-ready world. Through this initiative, the Group aims to create a lasting influence on the educational goals of aspiring youth.
