Kolkata | July 27, 2026: The makers of The Bose Files – Sach Ya Sazish, one of the year’s most anticipated historical films, have officially announced the project in Kolkata while confirming that its theatrical release has been advanced to July 30, 2026, a day earlier than previously planned.
According to the makers, the decision was taken due to overwhelming audience anticipation and the early availability of premium cinema screens, ensuring viewers experience the film on the best possible platforms from day one.
The announcement event was attended by director Rajesh Gupta, actor Yatin Karyekar, who portrays Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and actor Rajiv Kumar Aneja, who plays the role of Mandal. During the event, the team reflected on the film’s challenging journey to the big screen, revealing that it underwent an extensive certification process involving multiple rounds of scrutiny before finally receiving censor clearance.
Directed by Rajesh Gupta, The Bose Files – Sach Ya Sazish is a period drama inspired by the extensively researched works of authors Anuj Dhar and Chandrachur Ghose. The film explores one of India’s most debated historical mysteries—the disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
The story follows Veerali Prasad, a determined young woman, and Anuj Gupta, an investigative journalist who has spent more than two decades searching for the truth behind Netaji’s disappearance.
