Kolkata: Kkhubii, a multidisciplinary creative collective incubated by IIM Bangalore’s NSRCEL Mumbai, has presented ‘Anubhuti: Sukoon’, a thoughtfully curated photography and painting exhibition at the prestigious Jamini Roy Gallery, ICCR, Kolkata. The exhibition delves into the idea of sukoon—inner calm, emotional stillness, and the quiet moments that offer comfort amid the fast-paced rhythm of contemporary life.
The showcase unfolds through evocative photographs and expressive paintings capturing fleeting experiences of peace, human connection, memory, and nature. Each artwork reflects emotions that are deeply personal yet universally relatable, inviting viewers to pause, observe mindfully, and experience art as an immersive emotional journey rather than mere visual spectacle.

Kkhubii operates as a dynamic cultural platform spanning visual arts, photography, painting, film, and creative education. In addition to exhibitions, it actively supports emerging artists, curates visual storytelling initiatives, and encourages dialogue between art, society, and contemporary thought. Its incubation under IIM Bangalore’s NSRCEL Mumbai underscores the collective’s focus on sustainable creative entrepreneurship and cultural innovation.
At the heart of Kkhubii’s vision is Shrestha Ganguly—acclaimed filmmaker, visual storyteller, and co-owner of the platform. Known for her nuanced cinematic narratives rooted in human emotions and social realities, Ganguly brings a filmmaker’s sensitivity to Kkhubii’s curatorial approach. Her work frequently explores identity, silence, resilience, and emotional truth—elements that shape the conceptual framework of ‘Anubhuti: Sukoon’. Through this exhibition, she extends her cinematic gaze into the gallery space, allowing still imagery and painted forms to convey introspection with the depth of moving images.

Describing the exhibition, Shrestha Ganguly said,
“It gives me immense joy to welcome everyone to the Kkhubii painting and photography exhibition at the Jamini Roy Gallery, ICCR. This space carries a rich legacy of Indian art, making it especially meaningful for us to present Kkhubii here. The theme ‘Anubhuti aur Sukoon’ speaks of inner experience, calm reflection, and emotional truth. In a fast-moving world, this exhibition invites us to pause, feel deeply, and reconnect with ourselves.”
She further added that Kkhubii was born from the belief that stories live beyond cinema—through colours, light, textures, and expressions—and aims to support honest creative voices and lived experiences. She also acknowledged the role of IIM Bangalore, NSRCEL Mumbai, CSR support from Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICCR, mentors, partners, and participating artists in bringing the exhibition to life.
‘Anubhuti: Sukoon’ at Jamini Roy Gallery stands as an intimate artistic journey—inviting audiences to slow down, reflect, and rediscover calm through visual expression.
