A grand felicitation ceremony was organized today after Maghrib prayers at the historic Syed Mir Mosque and Shrine, located at 146 J.N. Mukherjee Road, Ghusuri, Howrah. The event was hosted by the Syed Mir Mosque & Shrine Committee to honour renowned social worker Haji Mushtaq Khan, Head of the Shahra Welfare Trust & Hospital, for his remarkable contributions to society.
The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Mohammad Zarif, former Imam of Firdous Mosque. The spiritual atmosphere was further enriched by soulful Naat recitations and devotional performances presented by Dr. Salim Akhtar, Parvez Habibi, and Anwar Ali Qadri, who also serves as a caretaker of the Syed Mir Mosque & Shrine.
Haji Mushtaq Khan was felicitated in recognition of his dedicated efforts in public welfare, including the establishment of healthcare facilities and educational institutions aimed at providing quality medical services and education to underprivileged communities. His unwavering commitment to social development and humanitarian service was highly praised by speakers at the event.

During the ceremony, Hafiz Md Zarif, Md Muslim (General Secretary), Salim Khan, and noted social worker Badru Doza Ansari welcomed Haji Mushtaq Khan with flower garlands and expressed their appreciation for his outstanding social initiatives.
The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets, Zamzam water, and dates among the attendees.
