Kolkata, September 2026: Godrej Enterprises Group’s Aerospace business has played a key role in the successful EOS-05 mission of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) by contributing critical propulsion and satellite systems that supported the spacecraft’s journey from launch to its designated orbit.
The EOS-05 Earth observation satellite was launched aboard ISRO’s GSLV-F17 rocket and is designed to support several applications with direct relevance to everyday life, including weather forecasting, agricultural planning, natural resource management and environmental monitoring. The data generated by the satellite is expected to support governments, agencies and communities in making informed decisions and strengthening India’s resilience.
For the GSLV-F17 mission, Godrej Enterprises Group contributed critical systems and components, including Vikas engines, cryogenic engine nozzles and satellite thruster components. These technologies played an important role in supporting the mission from liftoff through the satellite’s placement in orbit.
