Charnock Hospitals Honours Medical Fraternity on National Doctors’ Day 2026

Kolkata, July 1, 2026: Charnock Hospitals, one of Eastern India’s leading super specialty healthcare institutions, celebrated National Doctors’ Day 2026 with a special event dedicated to recognising the unwavering commitment and invaluable contribution of doctors to the healthcare sector.

Held under the theme “Behind the Mask: Who Heals the Healers?”, the programme paid tribute to the compassion, dedication and selfless service of medical professionals who continue to strengthen the healthcare ecosystem through quality patient care.

The event was graced by Tarunjyoti Tewari, MLA of Rajarhat–Gopalpur, as the Chief Guest, along with Piyush Kanoria, who joined the celebration to felicitate distinguished doctors for their outstanding contribution to healthcare and medical excellence.

Among those honoured were Dr. Tapabrata Dey (Cardiology), Dr. Jayanta Dutta (Nephrology), Dr. A.N. Mukherjee (Orthopaedics), Dr. Tapan Mukerjee (Neurosurgery), Dr. Manas Kumar Mondal (Urology), Dr. Nishant Agarwal (Head of Emergency), and Dr. Salim Parvez (Interventional Radiology), along with several other senior medical professionals associated with the hospital.
