Kolkata, 18 May 2026: In a major step towards promoting environmental awareness and sustainable urban living, DS Group has extended its unique ‘Living Billboard’ green plantation campaign to Kolkata after successful installations in Delhi and Mumbai.
Installed at E.M. Bypass near P.C. Chandra Garden, facing Chingrighata, the massive eco-friendly billboard is made using nearly 4,000 jade plants, creating a striking green landmark aimed at encouraging citizens to embrace plantation drives and environmental responsibility.
The initiative reflects the Group’s continued focus on sustainability and public participation in green movements. Speaking on the campaign, Rajiv Kumar said that sustainability is not just an initiative for the company, but a long-term responsibility towards protecting the planet and building a greener future.
Founded in 1929, DS Group is one of India’s leading FMCG and multi-business corporations with brands like Catch, Pulse, Pass Pass and Rajnigandha under its portfolio.
The company has also earned global recognition for its sustainability efforts, including LEED Platinum and LEED Zero Carbon Certification, while maintaining a strong ESG-focused growth strategy across India.
With the ‘Living Billboard’ now in Kolkata, the city gets a fresh green reminder that environmental action begins with awareness.
