
Kolkata: The 6th Eastern Region Meet & Training of the Forum of Women in Public Sector (WIPS) was organized successfully with enthusiastic participation from women professionals representing various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) across Eastern India. The event focused on leadership, professional growth, empowerment and skill development among women employees.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by the WIPS Pledge, setting the tone for an inspiring and knowledge-driven session.
Prominent dignitaries who graced the occasion included Swagata Sen Roy, Neha Dugar, Ranjana Chakraborty, Seemantini Sahu and Dr. Sumana Chakraborty.
The event featured several informative and engaging sessions focusing on precautions in the era of Artificial Intelligence, cyber crime case studies related to women, cyber safety awareness, along with discussions on inner wellbeing, mindfulness and work-life balance.
The programme concluded with the felicitation of distinguished guests and a renewed commitment towards strengthening women’s leadership, encouraging professional excellence and building a stronger and more inclusive professional community through WIPS.
