
Kolkata, November 26, 2025: Laser Power & Infra Limited, a leading integrated manufacturer of power cables, conductors, and specialised components for India’s power transmission and distribution sector, has secured new utility projects cumulatively valued at ₹836 crore. The orders have been awarded by NTPC, Kanpur Electric Supply Company Ltd (KESCo) and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JDVVNL) under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
The projects cover supply of the company’s high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) power cables, Aerial Bunched (AB) cables, overhead conductors, and various system-strengthening materials, along with full Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) execution.
Key Project Wins
• KESCo, Uttar Pradesh – ₹422.11 crore
System strengthening works including extensive deployment of distribution cables and conductors, followed by erection and commissioning.
• NTPC, Jammu & Kashmir – ₹212.06 crore
Loss-reduction initiatives across Udhampur and Reasi, with a major share comprising HT/LT cables, AB cables and overhead conductors manufactured in-house.
• JDVVNL, Rajasthan – ₹202.13 crore
Feeder segregation and infrastructure expansion supported by the company’s advanced distribution conductors and cabling solutions.
A significant portion of the order value comprises company-manufactured materials, reinforcing Laser Power & Infra’s strategy of backward integration and end-to-end quality control across the distribution value chain.
Company Growth & Expansion
Founded in 1988, Laser Power & Infra operates three manufacturing facilities in West Bengal with a combined production capacity of 73,100 MT (as of March 31, 2025).

The company recently filed its DRHP for a ₹1,200 crore IPO, including:
- ₹800 crore as fresh equity capital
- ₹400 crore via Offer for Sale (OFS)
In FY25, the company reported:
- Revenue: ₹2,570 crore (~40% CAGR from FY23)
