Tolly Star Award Season 2 Poster Launch Turns into Star-Studded Gala in Kolkata

The poster launch and trophy reveal of Tolly Star Awards Season 2 lit up Kolkata with a galaxy of Tollywood stars, marking the official unveiling of the much-anticipated event presented by Vicks Venture Entertainment.

Following the grand success of its first season, the second edition promises to be bigger and more spectacular, with new award categories and a glittering grand finale scheduled at a five-star venue in December 2025.

The launch evening saw an impressive turnout of Tollywood celebrities, including Shaheb Bhattacharya, Susmita Dey, Rahul Dev Bose, Debadrita Basu, Payel Mukherjee, Arya Dasgupta, Riya Ganguly, Ayan Sengupta, among several others.

Souvik Manna, Founder of Vicks Venture Entertainment, expressed confidence in the growing scale of the awards, thanking mentor Leena Gangopadhyay, along with associate partner Mou Sarkar and awards partner Aparna Jana for their support.

“Season 2 is going to be larger in scale. With Leena Gangopadhyay Ma’am as our mentor and new categories being introduced, we are confident this show will reach new heights,” Manna said.

Mou Sarkar added that the finale will be “grander with five-star ambience and stronger corporate partnerships,” while Aparna Jana said she was “delighted to contribute to an event poised for success.”

Tollywood artists also endorsed the initiative, with Rahul Dev Bose calling it “a big encouragement,” Debadrita Basu promising a “bigger and better season,” and Shaheb Bhattacharya expressing joy at the award’s return. Singer Samidh Mukherjee, a judge for the music category, termed it “a proud moment,” while Susmita Dey, Payel Mukherjee, and Arya Dasgupta praised the platform for recognizing talent and inspiring artists.
