Kolkata, February 2026:
The Yellow Turtle is all set to take Kolkata’s food lovers on a flavour-packed journey across Asia with the launch of The Curry Festival, a specially curated culinary showcase celebrating the richness, diversity, and heritage of iconic Asian curries.
Designed as a global gastronomic experience, the festival menu brings together time-honoured recipes inspired by centuries of cultural exchange and traditional cooking techniques. Each dish reflects the story of its origins, offering diners an authentic taste of Asia’s most beloved curries.
Among the highlights is the Chicken Laksa Curry, a soul-warming classic that traces its roots to the fusion of Chinese traders and Malay culinary traditions, known for its aromatic spices and comforting depth. Representing Thailand are two legendary offerings—the indulgent Panang Curry, prized for its creamy texture and perfectly balanced flavours, and the iconic Massaman Curry, a mildly spiced yet richly layered dish influenced by ancient trade routes and royal Thai kitchens.

Speaking on the occasion, a spokesperson from The Yellow Turtle said, “The Curry Festival is our way of bringing together flavours from across Asia under one roof. Each dish on the menu tells a story of culture, tradition, and culinary evolution, offering our guests an immersive dining experience.”
The festival will be available exclusively at The Yellow Turtle’s Golpark outlet and will run for a limited period until 15th February, inviting food enthusiasts to explore curries that transcend borders and celebrate global flavours.
