Kolkata | June 22, 2026

In a landmark achievement for India’s farm machinery sector, Mahindra Group Farm Equipment Business (FEB) has surpassed the production milestone of 7 million (70 lakh) tractors, reinforcing its position as the world’s largest tractor manufacturer by volume.

The milestone reflects Mahindra’s long-standing commitment to advancing farm mechanization and empowering farmers through innovation, technology, and reliable agricultural solutions. With a diverse portfolio comprising Mahindra Tractors, Swaraj Tractors, and Gromax brands, the company offers more than 350 tractor models and variants catering to farmers across India and global markets.

The achievement comes on the back of a strong FY26 performance, during which Mahindra recorded annual tractor sales of over 526,000 units. The company also strengthened its product lineup with launches such as the Mahindra 585 YUVO TECH+ V1, Mahindra NOVO Premium Edition, and Swaraj Protek, while expanding its Mahindra OJA range across key international markets.

Commenting on the milestone, Rajesh Jejurikar said, “As India moves towards the vision of Viksit Bharat, transforming agriculture will remain central to nation-building. The 7 million tractor milestone is a proud moment for Mahindra as we continue supporting rural prosperity and long-term national development.”

Veejay Nakra, President of Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Business, highlighted that the achievement reflects the deep trust farmers have placed in the company’s brands over decades. He emphasized Mahindra’s commitment to making advanced technology more accessible and relevant for farmers worldwide.

With operations spanning more than 50 countries and a strong presence in markets including the United States, Mahindra continues to drive innovation in smart agricultural machinery, offering solutions across the entire farming value chain—from land preparation to post-harvest management.
