Kolkata , 26 October 2025 :
The city witnessed a powerful display of strength and sportsmanship as ‘Flex Arm 2025’, Kolkata’s largest arm-wrestling competition, took place at Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium on Sunday. Organized by Stamina Unleashed, the event drew massive participation from across the country, reinforcing the growing popularity of arm wrestling in India.
Arm-wrestling has seen tremendous growth nationally with the rise of the Pro Panja League (PPL) and remarkable performances by Indian athletes on the global stage. This year, India secured 176 medals across various categories at the 23rd Asian Arm-wrestling Championship and the 22nd Asian Para-Arm-wrestling Championship held in New Delhi, marking a significant milestone for the sport. Arm wrestling is already featured in prestigious international events like the Youth Asian Games and the World Police Games.
“Flex Arm 2025 is one of the most significant arm-wrestling events in the country, offering a cash prize of ₹2 lakhs. Top athletes from across India are competing here, giving participants from Bengal a great opportunity to interact with and learn from seasoned champions,” said David Khan of Stamina Unleashed.
The organizers shared that their mission extends beyond competition — promoting fitness, encouraging youth involvement in sports, and fostering discipline and healthy lifestyles within the community.
