In a remarkable stride toward global academic excellence, students from the Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management (GNIHM) and JIS University have returned from transformative international exchange programs held in Russia and Vietnam, underscoring the JIS Group’s unwavering commitment to building future-ready global professionals.
As part of the prestigious Indo-Russian Student Exchange Program, GNIHM students visited the Russian International Academy for Tourism (RIAT) in Moscow. The exchange offered immersive exposure to international hospitality practices, enabling students to benchmark against global standards. From collaborative workshops to hands-on learning sessions, the experience not only deepened their industry insight but also nurtured global sensibilities essential in today’s interconnected hospitality sector.
Simultaneously, a vibrant cohort from JIS University traveled to Vietnam, participating in a dynamic academic exchange with Hanoi University of Industry. The initiative fostered cross-border academic synergy, allowing students to engage in joint learning modules, explore innovative educational models, and embrace the rich Vietnamese cultural heritage.
These international engagements have been pivotal in shaping well-rounded learners equipped with both academic rigor and global cultural fluency. The twin programs exemplify how international exposure plays a critical role in modern education, aligning perfectly with the JIS Group’s vision of nurturing globally competent leaders.
Commenting on the initiative, Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director, JIS Group, remarked, “At JIS Group, we believe education must transcend borders. These exchange programs are designed to cultivate global citizens who are academically sound, culturally aware, and industry-ready.”
With these initiatives, JIS Group reaffirms its role as a trailblazer in global education, offering students not just degrees—but a world of opportunities.
