Kolkata | April 15, 2026: Indira IVF Hospital Limited has strengthened its presence in eastern India by acquiring a stake in Abha Surgy Healthcare Private Limited, which operates a specialised fertility clinic under the name Abha Surgy Centre.
The move marks a significant step in expanding access to advanced reproductive healthcare in West Bengal at a time when fertility trends in the state are undergoing notable changes. Abha Surgy Healthcare has established itself as a trusted name in assisted reproduction, driven by a strong focus on patient-centric care and clinical excellence.
At the forefront of the organisation is Dr. Bani Mitra, Director of Abha Surgy Healthcare, who brings over three decades of expertise in fertility and gynaecological care across eastern India. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping the centre’s reputation for personalised treatment and compassionate care.
