
Kolkata, 17 May 2025: The 20th edition of Education Interface 2025, Eastern India’s flagship career and education fair, was officially inaugurated today at the Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata. Organised by Career Planner Edufair, the three-day event was launched in the presence of key dignitaries from the Government of West Bengal, including Shri Firhad Hakim, Hon’ble Mayor and Minister for Urban Development & Municipal Affairs; Shri Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay, Hon’ble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs & Agriculture; and Shri Aroop Biswas, Hon’ble Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Power and Housing.
The event also witnessed participation from renowned educationists and industry figures such as Sardar Taranjit Singh, Managing Director, JIS Group; Manashi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairman, Techno India Group; and Satyam Roy Chowdhury, Chancellor of Sister Nivedita University and Founder & MD of Techno India Group. Their presence underlined the fair’s growing significance in bridging the gap between academia and the rapidly evolving job market.
Running from 17th to 19th May with daily timings from 11 AM to 7 PM, the fair offers free entry and serves as a crucial platform for students, parents, and academic professionals. This year, over 150+ institutions from across India are participating, providing insights and counselling across a wide range of disciplines—engineering, medical sciences, data science, hospitality, design, media, nursing, polytechnic, and more.
Catering to students from Class 10, 12, undergraduate, and professional streams, Education Interface 2025 offers one-on-one interactions with college representatives, hands-on career counselling, and information sessions on scholarships, education loans, student credit card schemes, and government education policies.
Speaking at the event, Dipak Sinha Roy, Founder and Organiser of Career Planner Edufair, highlighted the event’s enduring vision. “Career planning today is about timely access to the right guidance.
