Goa Tourism made a striking impression on the opening day of the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) Kolkata 2025, unveiling a vibrant and forward-looking pavilion that redefines the essence of Goa as a travel destination. Hosted at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, this premier travel trade exhibition saw Goa Tourism championing a bold narrative focused on sustainability, immersive culture, and tech-powered tourism experiences.
Gracing the occasion were Shri Dhiraj Wagle, Deputy Director of Tourism, and Shri Akshay Govenkar, Marketing Manager of GTDC, alongside other senior officials. The delegation actively engaged with travel professionals, delegates, and attendees, spotlighting Goa’s shift toward responsible and regenerative tourism models that benefit both visitors and local communities.
At the heart of the pavilion lies a compelling message — “Goa is more than a destination; it’s a soulful journey.” The booth invites visitors to explore the unexplored: monsoon-centric getaways, heritage trails through the hinterlands, serene spiritual circuits, and authentic local experiences that transcend the state’s traditional beach image.

Commenting on the showcase, Shri Kedar Naik, Director of Tourism, remarked, “We’re presenting a Goa that’s evolving — one that respects its roots while embracing innovation. Our offerings reflect a desire for meaningful, conscious travel. From tranquil monsoon escapes to spiritual journeys, we want visitors to discover Goa in its truest, most enriching form.”
