Taking a monumental step toward holistic cancer care, Apollo Cancer Centres (ACC) today unveiled ‘CanWin’, a first-of-its-kind cancer support initiative designed to unite and empower individuals impacted by cancer through shared strength, storytelling, and emotional solidarity.
Launched during National Cancer Survivors Month, CanWin is more than just a support group it is a compassionate movement that brings together patients, survivors, caregivers, oncologists, and volunteers to create a safe, inclusive space for dialogue, empathy, and healing.
“There’s a CAN in cancer and a WIN in every journey,” organizers emphasized, highlighting the group’s mission to foster courage, resilience, and connection.
A Journey of Hope Begins: ‘Stories from the STAGE by Cancer Winners’
The inaugural session of CanWin featured a deeply moving storytelling event where cancer winners took the spotlight to share their raw and inspiring experiences. Each story served as a beacon of hope for those navigating their own cancer journeys.
Aloke Mukherjee, a metastatic neuroendocrine carcinoma survivor, shared:
“Cancer challenged my body and spirit, but I live today with courage, gratitude, and the belief that even the unknown can be faced with hope.”
Manini Ray, breast cancer survivor, reflected:
“It changed my life, but not my spirit. My scars are proof that I endured and emerged stronger.”
Mathumumal Sudarshan, a malignant melanoma survivor, said:

Joining them were cancer champions like Gayatri Chatterjee, Jyoti Kejriwal, and Birinder Sawar, who added their voices to this growing community of courage.
