Annantaa Marks Stress Awareness Month with Transformative Wellness Session at Calcutta Business School

Kolkata, April 17, 2026: In response to the growing concerns around student stress, burnout, and emotional fatigue, Annantaa marked Stress Awareness Month 2026 with a high-impact wellness session at Calcutta Business School. The initiative aimed to equip students with practical tools to better manage academic and personal pressures while fostering emotional resilience.

The interactive session was conducted by counselling psychologist and clinical hypnotherapist Ms. Madhuri Sarda, along with psychotherapist Ms. Vidhi Bansal. The session offered students a deep dive into understanding stress, enhancing self-awareness, and building emotional strength.

Moving beyond conventional approaches, the workshop focused on helping participants understand the functioning of the mind and encouraged a shift from self-sabotaging patterns to self-mastery. Through a blend of psychological insights and experiential learning techniques, students were guided to identify limiting beliefs, decode negative thought patterns, and build confidence in real time.

The session also emphasized the role of thoughts in shaping performance and outcomes. Participants explored their self-doubt patterns and emotional triggers while gaining awareness of how negative self-talk can impact both academic success and personal growth.

Techniques rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) were introduced, enabling students to reframe their thinking, break cycles of overthinking, and develop clarity in decision-making. The workshop further highlighted the importance of inner conditioning and mind power in achieving long-term resilience.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Madhuri Sarda, Founder of Annantaa, said, “Many students today are silently battling stress and performance pressure. Our goal was to help them understand their internal processes and equip them with tools for sustained confidence and resilience.”

Ms. Vidhi Bansal, Co-Founder and Psychotherapist at Annantaa, added, “The session created a safe and reflective environment where students could openly engage with their challenges. We focused on building emotional awareness and practical coping strategies.”

Through this initiative, Annantaa reaffirmed its commitment to promoting mental well-being beyond awareness campaigns by delivering actionable solutions. The session at Calcutta Business School served as a meaningful step toward empowering students to take charge of their mental health, encouraging resilience, clarity, and confidence—true to the spirit of #BeTheChange.
