
Kolkata, April 9, 2026: In line with the growing demand for healthier snacking alternatives in India, ITC Limited has expanded its premium biscuits portfolio with the launch of a new sugar-free cookies range under its Sunfeast Farmlite label. The move reinforces the company’s broader vision of promoting better eating habits through its ‘Help India Eat Better’ initiative.
The newly introduced range is designed for consumers seeking to reduce sugar intake without compromising on taste. It features two variants—Choco Nut Cookies and Hazelnut & Oats Cookies—crafted to deliver indulgence alongside nutritional value. Both variants are a source of protein and contain no trans-fat, while the Hazelnut & Oats option is also lactose-free, catering to evolving dietary preferences.
Speaking on the launch, Suraj Kathuria, Vice President (Marketing), Biscuits, Foods Division at ITC Ltd., highlighted the brand’s focus on balancing health and indulgence. He stated that the new sugar-free cookies aim to meet the rising demand for guilt-free snacking while maintaining a rich and satisfying taste experience.
Dr. Shantanu Das, Vice President & Head of Food Sciences at ITC Ltd., emphasized the role of research and innovation in developing the product. He noted that the cookies are the result of advanced food science and formulation techniques, ensuring that they remain sugar-free without compromising on texture and flavor. He added that the company aims to make mindful snacking both credible and enjoyable for everyday consumption.
The cookies are packaged in single-serve packs to ensure freshness and convenience. The range will be available in 100g packs priced at ₹100 across leading quick-commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and Zepto.
With this launch, ITC Sunfeast Farmlite aims to tap into the fast-growing segment of health-conscious consumers, further strengthening its position in India’s evolving snacking market.
