Future Youth Leaders Bootcamp Concludes Successfully at Mitra Institution, Kolkata

Kolkata, December 20, 2025:
A three-day residential Future Youth Leaders Bootcamp was successfully organised from December 18 to 20, 2025, at Mitra Institution, Kolkata, by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), South Kolkata, under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.

The intensive leadership development programme saw the enthusiastic participation of 35 young leaders from across the region, with the aim of fostering leadership skills, civic responsibility, nation-building values, and holistic personal growth among youth.

The bootcamp was coordinated and facilitated by three experienced resource persons from Heartfulness, who conducted highly interactive and experiential sessions on leadership development, mindfulness, teamwork, self-discipline, emotional balance, and value-based decision-making. The residential format of the programme enabled deeper engagement, meaningful peer interaction, and immersive learning experiences.

The programme was formally inaugurated by Mr. Bikash Chandra Pradhan, District Youth Officer (DYO), MY Bharat, South Kolkata, who highlighted the objectives of the Future Youth Leaders Bootcamp. In his address, he emphasized the pivotal role of youth in nation-building and underlined the importance of ethical, inclusive, and service-oriented leadership in shaping India’s future.

The event was further enriched by the presence of several eminent dignitaries, including Mr. Ananda Kumar Mondal, APS, South Kolkata; Mr. Kartik Banerjee, Public Representative; Mr. Debananda Choudhary, President, Mitra Institution; and Ms. P. Divya, Youth Icon. The dignitaries interacted closely with the participants, sharing valuable insights, life experiences, and words of motivation, encouraging the youth to actively contribute to social transformation and national development.

The Future Youth Leaders Bootcamp concluded on a highly positive and inspiring note, with participants expressing appreciation for the programme’s structured training, mentorship, and impactful sessions. The initiative reaffirmed MY Bharat’s commitment to empowering young minds and building a strong foundation of responsible, capable, and value-driven future leaders for the nation.
