
Kolkata, 14 November 2025 :
The Bengal Business Council (Bongiyo Antorjatik Banijyo Parishad) officially announced the launch of its flagship event, Nabajagoron 4.0, during a press conference and sundowner held at Hotel De Sovrani, Kolkata. The fourth edition of the multidimensional trade fair will be organised from 19 to 21 December 2025 at the Corporation Ground, Gandhi More, Durgapur.
Envisioned as a vibrant confluence of business, culture, and creativity, Nabajagoron has emerged as a unique platform promoting entrepreneurship, collaboration, and innovation. After the success of its first three editions in Kolkata, this year’s fair marks a significant expansion into the Durgapur–Asansol industrial belt, with the aim of strengthening regional business networks and fostering new opportunities for emerging entrepreneurs.
The Theme Country for Nabajagoron 4.0 is Uzbekistan, whose rich cultural and commercial legacy will be featured prominently at the event.
Launch and Leadership
The inauguration address was delivered by Mr. Subrata Dutta, Managing Director of George Telegraph Group and Senior Vice President of the Bengal Business Council. He announced several new features of this year’s fair, stating:
- “Alongside the trade fair, the three-day industrial conference will also feature an automobile exhibition, a food fair, and a special technological exhibition by the National Institute of Technology.”
- He also revealed that the event will host a cultural performance by the renowned Nandy Sisters, adding to the fair’s cultural appeal.
Council Chairman Mr. Avishek Auddy, Managing Director of P.C. Chandra Group, outlined the Council’s six-point agenda and highlighted its impact in strengthening internal business relationships.
- He noted that business exchanges among the Council’s 500+ members collectively amount to approximately ₹1500 crore, underscoring the Council’s influence in Bengal’s business ecosystem.

• Dola Nandi, Deputy General SecretarySpeakers reiterated the Council’s long-term vision and stressed the pivotal role Bengali entrepreneurs are playing in driving regional economic progress.
New Initiatives
Council members unveiled the official Bengal Business Council merchandise, which will be available through the BBC Members Shop across West Bengal.In an effort to spotlight the musical talent of Bengal, the Council announced “Talent Search by Talentwala”, an open-mic talent showcase organised in collaboration with Talentwala Event Management, a Council member. This platform will feature emerging musical bands during the trade fair.
