Shiprocket, India’s leading e-commerce enablement platform, hosted the Kolkata edition of Shiprocket Yatra 2025, underscoring the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across West Bengal in the run-up to Durga Puja – one of Asia’s largest cultural and commercial festivals.
The initiative, designed to strengthen MSMEs and D2C entrepreneurs, focused on equipping businesses with advanced digital tools, AI-driven insights, and integrated e-commerce solutions to help them capture festive demand and scale operations.
During the event, Shiprocket’s experts shared strategies on demand forecasting, sales optimisation, and digital transformation to prepare sellers for the surge in festive shopping. The sessions were aimed at enabling entrepreneurs to expand their reach, tap into new customer bases, and strengthen their presence in the competitive digital marketplace.
West Bengal has emerged as a key market for Shiprocket, with over 13,000 sellers onboarded on its platform. Collectively, they have executed more than 90 lakh domestic and international shipments, driving transactions worth crores through Shiprocket Checkout and allied marketing solutions. This performance has contributed to a ~27% year-on-year growth (2023–2025), positioning the state as a vital contributor to India’s e-commerce ecosystem.
