Raha Kohinoor Films has announced its latest film Chainito Amon Kichu, written and directed by Ramiz Reyeez, with veteran film maker Sujit Guha as the chief advisor. The cast includes Bonny Sengupta, Madhumita Sarcar, Piya Sengupta, S. Nanda (Hyderabad), Bharat Kaul, Kanchan Mullick, Tina Roy, and Goutam Das.
The story revolves around Raj, the only son of a wealthy family, and Priya, the only daughter of another affluent family. Priya’s close friend, Moma, comes from a middle-class background. Priya falls for Raj at first sight, but Raj is reluctant to fall in love due to a past betrayal by another rich girl.
In a twist of fate, Moma meets Raj when she goes to his home to borrow money for her father’s medical treatment. Initially, Raj misunderstands Moma, but later offers her financial help. Moma, in turn, tries to bring Raj and Priya closer.
However, family circumstances and misunderstandings lead to tension. Raj’s father disapproves of Priya’s father and refuses any marriage proposal. Meanwhile, Priya’s father organizes a “Sukhbar” (Good News) gathering for her marriage, where a tragedy strikes Raj’s father dies in an accident. The situation spirals, leading to heartbreak, guilt, and a series of emotional confrontations between Raj, Priya, and Moma.
The film promises to deliver a blend of romance, family drama, and emotional intensity, with engaging performances from a strong ensemble cast.
