Trontek to Create Over 500 Jobs by FY27; Strengthens Eastern India Presence with Kolkata Care Centre

Kolkata: Trontek, one of India’s earliest pioneers and most trusted names in the energy storage and electric mobility sector, has announced plans to create over 500 new jobs by FY27, as demand for lithium-ion batteries continues to surge across electric mobility and energy storage segments in the country.

The move comes at a time when India is witnessing rapid adoption of electric vehicles and advanced battery technologies, driving significant growth opportunities for companies operating in the energy storage ecosystem.

As part of its expanding national footprint, Trontek has been witnessing strong demand and growing customer enquiries from eastern India, prompting the company to further strengthen its presence in the region. In line with this strategy, the company has established a company-owned Care Centre and warehouse in Kolkata, aimed at efficiently serving customers across the eastern region.

The Kolkata facility is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing after-sales support, improving service response time, and strengthening Trontek’s distribution capabilities across key eastern markets.

Building on this momentum, Trontek is also in the process of rolling out multiple Care Centres across eastern India in the near future, a step that will further reinforce its service infrastructure and support the rising demand for lithium-ion battery solutions in the region.

With the planned expansion and workforce growth, Trontek aims to accelerate its contribution to India’s rapidly evolving electric mobility and energy storage landscape, while also generating employment opportunities and strengthening its customer support network nationwide.
