Kolkata, 16 December 2025:
As race week begins for the landmark 10th edition of the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata, the city witnessed the powerful coming together of corporates, individuals, runners, and civil society to drive change beyond the finish line. With the support of 43 NGOs, 26+ individual fundraisers, and 10 corporates, the event has raised ₹32.12 lakh so far—funds that will be channelled into 12+ social causes spanning healthcare, education, gender equity, disability inclusion, water and sanitation, and youth empowerment. Fundraising for this edition will continue until 3 January 2026.
Anchored by Impact360 Foundation, the official Philanthropy Partner, the charity platform offers a cause-neutral, UN SDG–aligned ecosystem that enables individuals, young philanthropists, and corporates to participate in sustained social impact, while empowering NGOs to scale outcomes.
Since 2014, the platform has enabled 75+ NGOs across Eastern and North-Eastern India to raise ₹4.70+ crore, positively impacting millions. Over a decade, the race has evolved into a movement—transforming routine into ritual and etching Kolkata firmly on the global distance-running map.
