Kolkata, April 11, 2026: Tanishq has launched its latest natural gemstone jewellery collection, ‘Hues’, marking a significant step in expanding its design-led offerings ahead of the festive season of Poila Baisakh and Akshaya Tritiya.
Positioned as a celebration of individuality and contemporary style, the collection is crafted using 100% natural coloured gemstones, reflecting a growing consumer shift towards expressive and versatile jewellery. The launch event, held in Kolkata, brought together elements of design, craftsmanship, and storytelling, underscoring the brand’s strong cultural connect with Bengal.
Actor and public figure Mimi Chakraborty graced the occasion, embodying the spirit of the collection alongside Alok Ranjan, Circle Business Head, E1, Tanishq.
At the heart of Hues lies the concept of the “Srijoni” — the modern Bengali woman who blends tradition with contemporary sensibilities. The collection reflects this ethos through bold silhouettes, sculptural forms, and a vibrant interplay of colours inspired by the Indian summer.
Designed in 18kt gold, the collection features an array of globally sourced natural gemstones, including emeralds, amethysts, citrines, tourmalines, and tanzanites. It incorporates diverse cuts such as marquise, tabiz, and cabochon, along with layered compositions and techniques like bunching and slicing to create depth and movement.
Speaking at the launch, Alok Ranjan highlighted a noticeable shift in consumer preferences towards design-driven jewellery that balances craftsmanship with individuality. He noted that Hues aims to resonate with evolving tastes, particularly during weddings and festive occasions.

Mimi Chakraborty also emphasised the collection’s focus on self-expression, stating that it encourages women to choose jewellery based on mood and personal style rather than occasion alone.
With prices starting from ₹30,000, the collection caters to both everyday wear and special occasions. To coincide with Akshaya Tritiya, Tanishq has introduced festive offers, including up to 20% off on making charges and diamond value, along with a flat ₹201 per gram discount on gold jewellery purchases. Customers can also avail benefits under the brand’s exchange programme.
The launch of Hues signals Tanishq’s strategic push into the natural gemstone segment, combining authenticity, design innovation, and cultural relevance to appeal to the new-age Indian consumer.
