Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute of Technology and Sports Complex (SurTech), a premier institution under the JIS Group, formally inaugurated its academic session 2025–26 with a grand Student Induction Programme at Science City, Kolkata.
The event, attended by students, faculty, and eminent dignitaries, was designed to inspire and guide the new batch as they embark on their higher education journey. Distinguished personalities from diverse fields graced the occasion, including acclaimed actor Sabyasachi Chakraborty; Swami Kamalasthananda Maharaj, Principal, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, Rahara; Tuhina Bag, Assistant General Manager-CRM & Head HR, Ambey Group; Priyanka Roy, Tata Steel Downstream Products Ltd.; Aniruddha Das, Officer-in-Charge, Scientific Wing, Detective Department, Kolkata Police; Arunabha Ghosh, Founder & CEO, Blue Copper Technologies Pvt. Ltd.; senior journalist Gautam Bhattacharya; Prof. (Dr.) Debabrata Datta, Former Associate Director, Safety, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. & Retd. Their messages emphasized the importance of values in shaping both professional success and personal growth.
