Srijan Group Forays into Organised Fashion Retail with Launch of ‘Srijan Style

Kolkata | 24 February 2026: Diversified conglomerate Srijan Group has announced its entry into organised fashion retail with the launch of Srijan Style, marking a strategic diversification into India’s rapidly expanding value consumption segment.

The Group has committed an initial investment of over ₹500 crore to scale Srijan Style into a national retail chain. The expansion strategy will focus primarily on Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4 markets—regions emerging as key consumption growth drivers due to rising disposable incomes and increasing penetration of organised retail.

The announcement was made in Kolkata in the presence of senior leadership, including Shyam Sunder Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director, Srijan Realty Pvt. Ltd.; Sanjay Agarwal, Managing Director, Srijan Mart Pvt. Ltd.; Keshav Agarwal, Director, Srijan Realty Pvt. Ltd.; and Gaurav Saraogi, Vice President, Srijan Mart Pvt. Ltd.

Positioned as a ‘Family Destination’

Srijan Style is positioned as a comprehensive “Family Destination,” offering affordable fashion and essential general merchandise through a structured, high-efficiency retail model. Each store will span approximately 8,000 sq. ft., designed to maximise inventory productivity, operational leverage and store-level profitability.

The brand’s merchandise strategy will focus on high-volume, fast-moving categories priced between ₹99 and ₹1,999, with the majority of products below ₹999. Built around three core pillars—Variety, Value and Experience—the retailer will offer casual, formal and ethnic wear across men’s, women’s and kids’ categories.

A disciplined fashion calendar, seasonal drops and curated edits will ensure merchandise freshness, repeat footfall and tight inventory management.

Leadership Speaks

Shyam Sunder Agarwal stated that emerging India will define the next phase of consumption growth. “With Srijan Style, we are entering organised fashion retail with a long-term, capital-disciplined approach. Our strength in location strategy and execution gives us confidence to build a scalable national platform anchored in sustainable growth,” he said.

Sanjay Agarwal highlighted the operational framework of the new venture. “Srijan Style is designed as a high-efficiency retail engine. Standardised store formats, tight inventory cycles and data-led merchandising will drive strong per-store productivity. Our goal is to deliver quality fashion at accessible prices, consistently and at scale.”

Keshav Agarwal emphasised the structural demand in non-metro markets, noting that organised value fashion in Tier 2–4 India offers strong operating leverage. “With calibrated capex and integrated real estate control, Srijan Style is positioned to deliver predictable cash flows and sustainable long-term returns,” he added.

Gaurav Saraogi underscored the brand’s positioning, stating that the ambition is to become the most trusted destination for everyday value fashion. “Every decision—from assortment to pricing—is anchored in that promise. As we grow, strategic partnerships will align strictly with our commitment to affordable and dependable value.”

Phased Rollout with Clear Growth Roadmap

The rollout plan outlines:

  • 10 stores in the first quarter
  • 50 stores by the end of FY26–27
  • Long-term nationwide expansion

The journey will commence from Eastern India, anchored by a flagship store planned in Gariahat, alongside outlets in Bandel, Madhyamgram, Serampore, Bagnan, Sodepur, Murarai and Asansol. The company will subsequently scale operations across high-potential clusters nationwide.
