The Narula Institute of Technology (NiT), a JIS Group Educational Initiative, inaugurated its annual student induction programme “Swagatam 2025” at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, marking the beginning of a new academic journey for its incoming batch.
The event brought together prominent leaders from academia, industry, infrastructure, and the arts, who shared their experiences and insights with students. Among the distinguished guests were Mr. Anuj Mittal, Managing Director, Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.; Prof. (Dr.) Tapas Chakraborty, Vice Chancellor, MAKAUT; Mr. Surajit Dutta, Business Unit Head – Financial Services, Cognizant Technology Solutions; Mr. Abir Chatterjee, acclaimed Tollywood actor; along with Sardar Taranjit Singh, Managing Director, JIS Group, and Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director, JIS Group.
