In a major move to bolster fire safety compliance in the petroleum sector, the West Bengal Petroleum Dealers’ Association (WBPDA), in partnership with the West Bengal Fire & Emergency Services Department, organized a large-scale Fire License Renewal Camp in Kolkata.
The event drew a massive turnout from petroleum dealers across the state, who availed the opportunity to renew their mandatory fire safety licenses — an essential regulatory requirement for operating petrol pumps and fuel-based establishments.
Held under the theme “Safety First, Compliance Always”, the camp was designed to offer a smooth, transparent, and expedited renewal process. It also functioned as an awareness initiative to reinforce the significance of adhering to fire safety standards, especially in high-risk industries like fuel distribution.
