JIS University, under JIS Group Educational Initiatives, inaugurated its Induction Program for the academic year 2025-26 at the Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium. The event marked the beginning of an enriching academic journey for new students, with a focus on vision, discipline, and leadership.
The program was graced by eminent personalities including Prof. Tapan Misra, Founder of Sisir Radar and Former Director of ISRO’s Space Applications Centre; former Indian footballer Gautam Sarkar; Glen Dsouza, General Manager of Hyatt Centric, Ballygunge; Prof. (Dr.) Bhaskar Gupta, Vice-Chancellor of JIS University; Sardar Taranjit Singh, Managing Director, JIS Group; and Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director, JIS Group.
Speakers encouraged students to embrace innovation, adaptability, and discipline as cornerstones of academic and professional growth. They also highlighted JIS University’s vision of building a strong interface between education, science, industry, and culture to nurture globally competent citizens.
