A delightful culinary addition has been made to Kolkata’s vibrant food scene with the grand opening of Muradabadi Biryani on Paharpur Road, Garden Reach – Metiabruz. The new eatery promises a unique fusion of Muradabad and Kolkata-style Biryani, offering food lovers an unforgettable gastronomic experience.
The grand inauguration ceremony was held in a festive yet spiritual ambiance and was graced by the esteemed presence of former councillor Mr. Saquibuddin Shahzada, popularly known as Bobby Shahzada, who officially inaugurated the outlet. The event was also attended by several distinguished personalities from the locality.
The program commenced with a soulful Fateha Khwani led by Moulana Musharraf Habibi, Imam of Jama Masjid, Metiabruz, and Assistant Secretary of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, setting a serene tone for the event. Among the special guests were veteran journalists Md Nayeem and Javed Akhtar, along with Mr. Badru Doza Ansari (General Secretary, Howrah, District Human Rights council of India), Md Akbar, and several other notable figures.
At the conclusion of the event, Md Shamshad expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the attendees. Speaking about the uniqueness of the new venture, Md Yameen, alongside Md Qasim & Brothers, shed light on the shop’s distinct offerings. He highlighted that the outlet brings together the rich, fragrant saffron rice and tender potatoes of Kolkata-style Biryani known for its light spices and subtle Awadhi influence with the bold, spicy essence of Moradabadi Biryani, enhanced by its signature chutney, lemon, raw onions, and a robust blend of traditional spices.
