In a major employee-centric move, IT services giant Cognizant will roll out salary hikes for nearly 80% of its eligible staff, effective November 1, 2025. The decision, announced on Thursday, reaffirms the company’s earlier commitment to grant merit-based pay increases in the second half of the year.
The hikes will cover employees up to the Senior Associate level, with increments linked to individual performance ratings and geographic location. In India, consistent high performers are set to receive increases in the high single digits.
“Top performers will receive the highest increments,” the company stated, adding that earlier this year, most associates received their largest bonuses in three years.
Industry watchers see this as a strong retention move amid intensifying competition for skilled tech talent.
