Kolkata, 19 June 2025: In a heartfelt celebration of selflessness and service, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) West Bengal, in association with the Indian Women Network (IWN), hosted ‘Joyee 2025: 6th Recognition of Excellence to Caregivers’ today, felicitating caregivers across the state for their invaluable contributions to society.
Nearly 50 caregiver institutions were conferred with the prestigious Joyee: Recognition of Excellence award, a token of appreciation for their tireless commitment and compassionate care.
The event, attended by over 400 caregivers and dignitaries from the industry, served as a powerful reminder of the vital, often unacknowledged, role caregivers play in nurturing vulnerable populations. From supporting the elderly to caring for individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses, caregivers provide essential services that uphold the social fabric.
Speaking at the event, CII officials underscored the need to shine a spotlight on these everyday heroes whose work is frequently overshadowed. “Caregivers are the silent backbone of our communities. Through Joyee, we aim to amplify their voices and honour their unwavering dedication,” said a senior CII representative.
This year’s edition of Joyee not only celebrated excellence but also fostered a spirit of gratitude and collective responsibility towards improving the quality of care across West Bengal.
