CEDA to Host 8th Edition of ‘Electra 2026’ in Kolkata; Revamped Website & First Mobile App to Launch

Kolkata | February 2026

The Calcutta Electric Dealers Association (CEDA) — a leading trade body established in 1986 representing more than 1,600 stakeholders across the electrical business ecosystem — is set to organise the 8th edition of its flagship trade exhibition, “Electra 2026,” from February 19 to 21, 2026 at Cutchi Jain Bhawan, Ezra Street.

Located in the heart of Kolkata’s primary electrical wholesale district, the three-day expo will bring together manufacturers, distributors, dealers and industry professionals on a single platform. The exhibition will feature 46+ curated stalls spread across two floors, showcasing the latest products, technologies and trade solutions from across the electrical sector.

Strong Industry Backing

The event has secured key industry partnerships, with:

  • LITES as Gold Sponsor
  • True Power Ltd. as Silver Sponsor
  • 91.9 Friends FM as Radio Partner

Digital Leap for the Association

Marking a major step in its digital transformation journey, CEDA will officially unveil its revamped website along with its first-ever mobile application — available on both Android and iOS — on February 20, 2026, during the exhibition.

The mobile app has been designed to function as an integrated member interface, featuring:

  • Comprehensive membership directory
  • Direct communication channels
  • Streamlined coordination and operational updates

The initiative is aimed at building a more connected, structured and technology-enabled association framework.

Sri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Convenor, Media Sub-Committee, CEDA, is overseeing media coordination and communications for the exhibition.

Leadership Speaks

Abhishek Verma, President, CEDA, said:

“Electra 2026 reflects the strength of our 1,600-plus members and our commitment to structured trade growth. The launch of our website and mobile app represents the next phase of CEDA’s evolution.”

Satya Prakash Shaw, Chairman, Trade Fair Committee, added:

“The 8th edition is not only about showcasing products — it is about strengthening relationships and modernising the way our association operates.”

Under the leadership of Honorary Secretary Gagan Deep Mundhra, the association continues to enhance its institutional capabilities while reinforcing Kolkata’s stature as a key electrical trade hub in Eastern India.
