
Kolkata, August 23, 2025: The Bengal Institute of Business Studies (BIBS), in collaboration with the NHRDN Kolkata Chapter, successfully organized the HR Leadership Summit 2025 at Taj Taal Kutir, Kolkata, focusing on the AI-driven future of work and the role of hybrid models in reshaping organizational dynamics.
The event brought together top HR leaders, practitioners, and thought leaders to chart the roadmap for leadership in a rapidly transforming business landscape. Shri Snehasis Chakraborty, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Transport, Government of West Bengal, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Delivering the keynote address, Prabir Jha, Founder & CEO of Prabir Jha People Advisory, highlighted how AI, automation, and digital-first workplaces are redefining HR beyond transactional support to a more strategic role driving innovation, agility, and people-first culture.

- Panel 1: “Mastering People Leadership in a Hybrid World” – Discussed leadership approaches in hybrid work models. Panellists included George Thomas (CHRO – MISP Steel), Kassiopea Chaudhuri (Associate Director HR – IBM), Rashmita Parija (Head HR – Laxmark), Subrata Chatterjee (CHRO – AECOMTITAL Design & Engineering Centre), and Sudarsan Sanyal (Head HR & Admin – CESC). The session was moderated by Writadip Mehta (Head HR – Rollicks Ice Cream).
- Panel 2: “Future Ready or Left Behind: The Urgency of Upskilling in the Age of AI” – Focused on digital literacy and continuous learning to stay competitive. Speakers included Megha Chhabra (GM & Global HR Head – Cyber Security & Risk Services, Wipro), Prapti Lodh Roy (Managing Director Human Capital – PwC India), and Suman Banerjee (CHRO – ABP Pvt. Ltd.). The discussion was moderated by Sagorika Sanyal (VP – Talent Management, Apsenconest).
