In a significant step toward strengthening emergency healthcare infrastructure across the nation, Bandhan Bank has donated 10 fully equipped ambulances to leading hospitals and healthcare organisations across India as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Of these, three ambulances have been allocated to West Bengal, supporting critical medical services in the state.
The ambulances were handed over to:
- Institute of Neurosciences Kolkata
- The Institute of Child Health, Kolkata
- Ashadeep Trust, Murshidabad
The initiative, announced earlier during Bandhan Bank’s 10th Foundation Day, has now been formally executed, reinforcing the Bank’s commitment to ensuring timely medical support and improved access to emergency care for communities in need.
Nationwide Impact Across Major States
Apart from West Bengal, the ambulances have been provided to well-known healthcare institutions in Bengaluru, Ahmednagar, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Delhi, Jaipur, Akbarpur, and Jalandhar. The distribution aims to expand medical response capacity in urban as well as semi-urban regions, especially during life-critical emergencies.
