Kolkata, 9th October 2025: Aptech Limited, a pioneer in vocational trlaining and global learning solutions, has partnered with WOL3D, one of India’s leading 3D printing solutions companies, to launch the country’s first collaborative 3D printing training curriculum. The initiative aims to build a strong foundation for 3D printing education in India, combining creative expertise with technical know-how to prepare students for emerging opportunities in digital manufacturing.
The new program, spanning around 60 hours in hybrid format, will be delivered through Aptech’s M&E training brands — MAAC and Arena Animation. It blends theory with hands-on practice at Aptech centres and WOL3D’s state-of-the-art facilities, offering students real-world exposure to 3D workflows. Designed as an add-on module for 3D animation and design learners, it bridges creativity with industrial application across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, product prototyping, and architecture.
Mr. Sandip Weling, Whole-time Director, Aptech Limited, said,
“Our partnership with WOL3D is a strategic step toward creating future-ready talent aligned with evolving industry demands. By combining structured learning, certified workflows, and access to advanced technology, we aim to take learning from screen to shop floor. This initiative will not only enhance employability but also foster entrepreneurship among India’s youth, unlocking new creator-led opportunities in 3D printing.”
Mr. Rahul Chandalia, Co-Founder and Director, WOL3D, added,
“3D printing has evolved from a niche concept to a transformative industry force. Through this collaboration, we aim to equip learners with the right exposure, practical training, and entrepreneurial mindset. Together with Aptech, we’re enabling students to become innovators and creators, driving India’s digital manufacturing revolution.”
The collaboration comes at a time when India’s 3D printing ecosystem is growing rapidly, supported by the Government of India’s National Strategy for Additive Manufacturing and initiatives like Mission Manufacturing, recently highlighted by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. With 3D printing expanding across aerospace, automotive, and medical industries globally, the need for trained professionals is greater than ever.

Through this alliance, Aptech Ltd. and WOL3D aim to nurture a new generation of skilled professionals ready to lead in the era of digital manufacturing — bridging the gap between creativity and technology while strengthening India’s position in the global innovation landscape.
