Barasat, December 2025:
Aditya Academy brought India’s rich civilisational narrative alive through an immersive blend of culture, creativity, and contemporary thought at GenNext 2025, its signature Winter Carnival and cultural showcase, held at the Barasat campus.
Organised jointly by Aditya Academy Secondary, Barasat, and Aditya Academy Senior Secondary, Dumdum, the event was anchored in the theme “Incredible India”. It unfolded as a powerful storytelling experience, tracing India’s journey from the cradle of ancient civilisation to a technology-driven present, culminating in the aspirational vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
The carefully curated cultural presentations portrayed India as a living continuum—moving seamlessly through early civilisation, classical traditions, vibrant folk cultures, the freedom movement, post-independence aspirations, and a modern nation where innovation and Artificial Intelligence coexist with timeless values. Each performance transcended artistic expression to become an academic and philosophical narrative, integrating history, civics, ethics, creativity, and critical thinking, in harmony with the spirit of NEP 2020.
Students from both institutions presented a dynamic tapestry of classical, folk, and contemporary dance forms, reflecting discipline, cultural literacy, and reflective learning. The performances reinforced the Academy’s belief that holistic education must nurture intellect, physical expression, and moral consciousness together.
The programme was graced by Chief Guest Guru Asimbandhu Bhattacharjee, dancer par excellence and Founder of the Upasana Centre of Dance, who spoke eloquently on the enduring relevance of the guru–shishya parampara as the foundation of excellence, discipline, and character.
Guest of Honour Ms. Tanni Chowdhury, eminent dancer, highlighted the transformative role of performing arts in fostering confidence, identity, and cultural sensitivity among young learners.

The event was further enriched by the presence of Ms. Srabonee Mitra, Nodal Officer, IHM Kolkata, and Ms. Vaijayanti Bose, Independent Wellness Practitioner. While Ms. Mitra encouraged students to pursue their passions fearlessly, Ms. Bose emphasised the importance of emotional balance and well-being in today’s fast-paced academic environment.
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Roshni Aditya, Managing Director, Aditya Group, said,
“GenNext 2025 reflects our belief that education must honour India’s cultural roots while preparing students for a rapidly changing world. Through such initiatives, we strive to nurture confident, responsible individuals aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat.”
Through GenNext 2025, Aditya Academy reaffirmed its commitment to an education model deeply rooted in Indian values while being responsive to global change. As the finale envisioned a hopeful India progressing towards Viksit Bharat 2047, the message resonated powerfully—that India’s future will be shaped not by technology alone, but by young minds who understand their past, engage responsibly with the present, and imagine the future with courage and compassion.
