Kolkata, June 3: In a major healthcare outreach initiative, Parivartan Welfare Foundation, the social welfare and CSR arm of , has launched CharityForHealth.org, a technology-powered platform aimed at providing free medicines and healthcare support to underprivileged patients across India.

Inspired by the vision of Narendra Modi’s Viksit Bharat 2047, the platform connects CSR contributions and philanthropic donations directly with economically vulnerable patients suffering from chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, and depression.

As part of the inaugural programme, eligible beneficiaries can receive medicines worth up to ₹500 through discounts on JITO Health Quality Generic Medicines via the SastaSundar App, along with digital health tokens issued by CharityForHealth.org. Medicines will be delivered directly to patients’ homes at no additional cost.

The initiative also includes a comprehensive healthcare package worth ₹1,500, covering doctor consultations, diagnostic tests, and medicines through designated JITO Health Centres.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Abha Mittal, Managing Trustee of Parivartan Welfare Foundation, said the initiative seeks to ensure that no Indian is deprived of treatment due to financial constraints. She highlighted that the platform creates a transparent, technology-driven bridge between donors and patients in need.

According to the Foundation, every contribution made through the platform is digitally tracked and converted into healthcare benefits for verified beneficiaries, ensuring transparency, accountability, and measurable social impact.
