Kolkata, May 23, 2026: Football fever and fan passion came alive in Kolkata as Skechers, in association with Mohun Bagan Super Giant, unveiled an immersive fan engagement campaign titled “Live Like a Mariner.” The initiative aimed to celebrate Bengal’s legendary football culture while giving supporters an unforgettable behind-the-scenes experience of professional football life.
Held at a leading mall in Kolkata, the on-ground activation witnessed enthusiastic participation from football fans across West Bengal. The event featured multiple interactive and skill-based challenges designed to test participants’ football abilities, passion, and connection with the sport.
The highlight of the campaign was the exclusive “Mariner for a Day” experience — a first-of-its-kind initiative where selected fans got the rare opportunity to spend an entire day alongside Mohun Bagan Super Giant players. Fans enjoyed behind-the-scenes access to the team environment, interacted directly with players, explored the club’s culture, and experienced the daily life of professional footballers from close quarters.
Participants also took part in a special fan chat session where they shared their emotional journeys and lifelong connection with the club. As part of the celebration, winners received official Mohun Bagan kits along with exclusive Skechers merchandise.
