Sufal Bangla Mobile Outlet InauguratedNew initiative to provide essential food items at affordable prices


In a significant step aimed at ensuring the availability of quality essential food items at subsidized rates for the common people, a Sufal Bangla Mobile Outlet was formally inaugurated in Ward No. 20 of Rajpur–Sonarpur Municipality under the ‘Sufal Bangla’ project, launched as per the directives of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

The mobile outlet was inaugurated by Dr. Biplab Das, Councillor of Ward No. 20 and Chairman of Rajpur–Sonarpur Municipality. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Sujoy Mukherjee, Abhishek Saha, officials from the concerned department, and District Marketing Inspector Abdus Salam, among others.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Biplab Das stated that the primary objective of the Sufal Bangla Mobile Outlet is to make fresh vegetables and essential food commodities available to the general public at affordable prices. He emphasized that in the current period of rising inflation, this initiative will provide substantial relief to common citizens. He further highlighted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the State Government continues to implement welfare-oriented schemes effectively at the grassroots level.

Local residents welcomed the initiative, expressing that the launch of the mobile outlet would directly benefit middle-income and economically weaker sections by ensuring easy access to daily necessities at reasonable prices.
