The much-anticipated marathon was held on 25 January 2026 amid the picturesque surroundings of Rabindra Sarobar, Kolkata. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation across all age groups, with race categories of 15 km, 10 km, 5 km and 3 km. Adding to the excitement, the 15 km run was introduced for the first time, offering seasoned runners a fresh and demanding challenge.
Elevating the stature of the event, the Honourable Commissioner of Police, Kolkata, Shri Manoj Kumar Verma, IPS, graced the marathon as Guest of Honour. He flagged off the race and personally took part in the 10 km category, motivating runners and spectators alike through his active involvement and message of fitness.
