Navi Mumbai | December 2025:
Anudip Foundation for Social Welfare, in partnership with DBS Bank India, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art DeepTech Training Centre at Airoli, marking a significant milestone in their three-year skilling initiative aimed at transforming the futures of underserved youth.
The centre forms part of a broader programme designed to skill and empower 2,400 young individuals from economically and socially vulnerable communities across Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, and Chennai. With a targeted minimum 70% placement rate, the initiative is expected to unlock career opportunities with monthly salaries ranging between ₹22,000 and ₹25,000, contributing meaningfully to economic upliftment and social mobility.
Bridging India’s DeepTech Skills Gap
The DeepTech Programme for Underserved Youth, supported by DBS Bank India, addresses the growing skills gap in India’s fast-evolving technology ecosystem. The programme offers industry-aligned training in non-programming digital technologies, communication skills, career readiness, and essential soft skills.
Delivered through a blended learning model, the curriculum leverages AI-enabled tools, gamification, and a Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance learner engagement and outcomes. Third-party assessments by Mettl ensure standardised evaluation, job readiness, and alignment with industry expectations.
Leadership Voices and Learner Impact
Senior leaders from Anudip Foundation and DBS Bank India graced the inauguration, reaffirming a shared commitment to digital inclusion and sustainable livelihoods. During the beneficiary engagement session, learners showcased live projects, demonstrating strong technical capabilities and the early yet tangible impact of the programme.
Nekzaad Vakil, Executive Director – Group Strategic Marketing & Communications, DBS Bank India, said:
“We are proud to partner with Anudip Foundation on the inauguration of the DeepTech Training Centre in Airoli. This initiative aligns with our commitment to inclusion by empowering underserved youth with future-ready skills. Addressing critical skills gaps can open pathways to sustainable careers and help build resilient communities.”
Monisha Banerjee, CEO, Anudip Foundation, added:
“At Anudip, we believe success begins with access. By providing market-driven skills, mentoring, and employment opportunities, we enable young people from underserved communities to build brighter, more secure futures.”
