Kolkata, 6 December 2025: Indriya, Aditya Birla Jewellery, has marked its grand entry into West Bengal with the launch of its first flagship store in Kolkata. Celebrated as the cultural heart of India, Kolkata’s blend of tradition and contemporary lifestyles reflects the very ethos of Indriya — treasuring heritage while embracing modern design excellence.
Located at Raghunathpur–VIP Road, the new showroom is designed as an immersive retail space. It features a dedicated kaarigari room — allowing customers to witness the brilliance of jewellery artisans at work — and an exclusive Bridal Lounge catering to brides and their families as they explore heirloom-worthy designs for life’s most important occasions.
With a meticulously curated selection of more than 28,000 jewellery designs, the Kolkata store beautifully unites the finesse of Bengal’s gold artistry with modern trends, offering collections tailored for the city’s discerning, art-loving clientele.

With this expansion, Indriya’s national presence has grown to 40 stores across India, including six in Delhi; four each in Mumbai and Hyderabad; three in Pune; two each in Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Patna, and Bengaluru; and several in prominent cities such as Indore, Jodhpur, Surat, Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Agra, Gaya, Jammu, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Chandigarh, Mangalore — and now Kolkata.
Expressing his delight at the launch, Mr. Sandeep Kohli, CEO, Indriya, said:
“We are incredibly excited to enter the City of Joy. Kolkata’s heritage, particularly its rich history of craftsmanship and the celebration of life, makes it a perfect fit for Indriya. This city understands the soul of artistry. Our commitment to merging tradition with innovative design will allow us to become the premier destination for every bride and family looking to honour their traditions with timeless, heirloom pieces. We look forward to adorning their most cherished moments.”
With its debut in Kolkata, Indriya by the Aditya Birla Group strengthens its mission to make exquisitely crafted jewellery accessible across India — shining now in a city celebrated for its creativity, intellect, and cultural pride.
