The Synergy & Business Facilitation Conclave 2025 was successfully held today at Sarat Sadan, Howrah, under the initiative of the Department of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and Textiles (MSME&T), Government of West Bengal. The conclave aimed to boost industrial growth, entrepreneurship, innovation, and investment across the state.
The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of entrepreneurs, industrialists, representatives of financial institutions, and senior government officials, who discussed opportunities, challenges, and policy support for the MSME sector.
Dr. P. Deepap Priya, IAS, District Magistrate, Howrah, highlighted that the Synergy initiative has played a crucial role in improving the business ecosystem and linking small enterprises with larger industrial networks.
Sri Arup Roy, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Food Processing Industries & Horticulture, who presided over the session, stated that under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the government is committed to extending full support to entrepreneurs and ensuring time-bound solutions to their issues.
The event was also graced by Sri Rajesh Pandey, IAS (Additional Chief Secretary, MSME & Textiles Department), Dr. Nirmal Maji, MLA (Uttar Uluberia), Sri Rana Chatterjee, MLA (Bally), Sri Ajay Bhattacharya, Saha Sabhadhipati, Howrah Zilla Parishad, Smt. Kaberi Das, Sabhadhipati, Howrah Zilla Parishad, and Sri Praveen Tripathi, Commissioner of Police, Howrah, among other dignitaries.
During the conclave, several technical sessions and facilitation desks were organized to provide on-spot guidance and assistance to entrepreneurs. Participants also engaged in interactive discussions on ease of doing business, regulatory reforms, and access to finance.
The conclave reaffirmed the government’s commitment to empowering MSMEs and creating a vibrant industrial environment in West Bengal through continued collaboration between industry and administration.
